Hi Nikko,
Thanks for the excellent tour on Tuesday. We both thought it was a brilliant experience and you are such an easy guy to chat to.
I am not a great one for 'doing the sights of a city'. I like the more off the track experiences that new places have to offer. So it was fun doing that with you.
I must say that St Petersburg does have some great tourist sights too.
David has booked himself for the opera. I may go to the sauna or possibly the Pavlovskie baths with the naked party on Friday, not sure yet. We had a full day today too out at Peterhof so are both a bit tired.
Please feel free to e-mail if you do plan to visit the UK. I have a spare room and you would be welcome to stay.
Thanks once again for Tuesday's unforgettable experience.

Hi Niko. Thank you again for our wonderful time in St Petersburg. Your knowledge as a guide was second to none, and we saw and learned many things. Oh yes and the bathhouse on Tuesday night was a sight-seeing highlight too! ;-D
Very interesting to experience a city in the depths of heavy snow; a novelty for us coming from a temperate climate.

It was truly a great experience, and I will always remember the starkly beautiful, yet frozen and white expanses punctuated by story-book palaces and churches. Thank you very much for the great "snowing" day we had with your help in the magnificent Tsarkoe Selo & Pavlovsk palaces, everything was perfect.
And a special thank for the evening in the traditional russian bath, it was a curious, funny and pleasant time ! birch branches miss me... ;-)
It was our first time in russia/st petersburg, but not the last one !
We enjoy a lot our travel !

As a 72yr old travelling alone I 'did' Moscow,Golden Ring,Novgorod with a small group tour,mostly walking/ public transport. Good tour but pace yunfamiliarity of transport and dragging of luggage proved not for me so found Nickolay's website when got to St Petersberg AND what a 'gem' he was! Helpful,understanding,qualified knowledable AND cute he made my last days in St Petes a real joy - I combined and fully enjoyed a number of his tours with Peterhof a highlite. Wish I'd been with him, for Hermitage also. I've recommended Nickolay to friends already and check with him well in advance for venue opening times, visas and pick-ups. His car made getting about & seeing more in limited time a great asset. The folk show visit AND the gay sauna end of day a real plus. So great a time that I repeated the exercise finging another 'gem' in Berlin. Hope to return again for more of St Petesin the company of my Nickolay.

Due to my work, I had 1? days to complete my first visit to St Petersburg. I had selected a number of sights, I wanted to see (and a loaded programme, it was). Nikolay took me around to everything and even managed to include a number of additions, that I am deeply indebted to him for. So patient - so dedicated - so knowledgeable about Russian history. It was a pleasure indeed to have him as a guide and a great joy to get to know him personally. I recommend his services to any traveller who wishes to experience St Petersburg to its max! You will be in very safe hands! Thank you so much Nikolay, I hope to be back very soon - you have only sharpened my appetite for your city! Kind regards and all the best!

So I am back in Darkest Africa. Started working yesterday and already as busy as when I have left.
